MTV MURCIA SHOW – A STATEMENT FROM PLACEBO
Last Night’s MTV show in Cartagena, Spain didn’t turn out as anyone had expected!
In our 15 year career we have never experienced such a technical difficulty on stage. We tried as hard as we could to rectify it and we had a very professional and experienced crew who did their utmost in trying to fix it.
Unfortunately it got to the stage where it was almost impossible to put on the quality show the audience there, and the tv audience over the world deserve.
We are deeply apologetic to all who travelled to see us and to MTV who put in a lot of hard work and energy into making the concert happen, it was no fault of theirs or yours!! We and our crew always try as hard we can to put on the best show possible, and sadly tonight that didn’t happen. We will try our hardest to make this up to you!

¡Joer Javi, menudo dominio del inglés!. Lo que dice Placebo ahí es justo lo contrario, que la MTV no fue culpable de lo que ocurrió. “…MTV who put in a lot of hard work and energy into making the concert happen, it was no fault of theirs or yours!!”… traducción breve: “La MTV hizo un gran esfuerzo para que el concierto tuviera lugar, NO fue culpa suya ni vuestra (refiriéndose al público)”
